Hello blogging world the Gorringe’s have arrived. I have put great thought into starting a Blog and have decided to give it a try. So, assuming someone will read this, this is me, and my life. (Don’t mind the bad spelling, I may have a Bachelors, but I still can’t spell)

We spent Christmas/New Year in Reno and were able to spend time with some of my good friends from High School. Everyone was doing new and exiting things with their lives. We spent the few hours we had together catching up and this motivated me to find a way to keep up with everyone better.

So this is what has happened in 2007

January found us living in Idaho Falls. I was working as a PsychoSocial Rehabilitation Specialist (PSR), for an agency that teaches mentally ill adults proper social and behavioral skills. It was interesting and kind of scary. I worked with all sorts of disabilities including Schizophrenia, Bi-Polar and Depression. I learned a ton and got a greater understanding for the mental health field.

In March we were able to go to Seattle. Justin’s brother was killed in a car accident in Sept. 2006. However before he was killed he was nominated for the “Father of the Year” award at the local Head Start, were one of his daughters attended. He won the award for the chapter, state, region and the national award. So we were honored to go to Seattle to accept the regional award on his behalf. We had a wonderful time in sunny Seattle (no joke it never rained while we were there). We enjoyed the sights, especially the ocean and ocean life.

The summer was very exciting we spent the Fourth of July in Reno/Tahoe with friends and family. As well as we were able to spend a week with the greater Rands family at Aspen grove in Utah. We had a great time being with our family. Justin especially liked have a fresh supply of kids to play with.

At the end of the Summer, I had a little quarter life crisis and decided that I no longer wanted to work as a PSR, and decided to go back to school to be a nurse. So in a two weak time period we gave notice at our jobs, found new jobs, applied for and registered for fall classes and moved.
The first week was rather stressful, and on top of it all, Justin was involved in an accident at work and lost part of his ring finger. It was very gross so I will spear you all the detail. But if you really want to know email me and I will share.

September we celebrated our two year anniversary by taking a Cruise to Alaska. Unfortunately we spent most of the time in our very little room. Due to Justin’s Injury we couldn’t go fishing, Swimming/Hot Tubing or any other of the exciting things we had planned. I also lost our camera on the first day (it fell off the boat). So we have very few pictures.

So now we are living in Burley, I am going to school full time and working part time. Justin is working full time and supporting me in my (what seems like never-ending) college experiences. We live with Justin parents, their two dogs and three cats, as well as our two cats.
